Natural Incense

Incense burning is a daily ritual in many parts of the world. Traditionally in Nepal, Incense is used for prayer, clarity and to bring good energy into your home and soul. We use it as a self care ritual, therefore the properties in the incense is vital.

Riti incenses are created by natural materials found in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal. Locals in area, hand pick and source the raw materials found in their environment. Only using ingredients indigenous to Nepal, our materials usually consist of Rhododendron, Juniper and Cedar.

The incense making process done by hand takes around 3 months to dry, knead and roll. We collaborate directly with buddhist nuns in the outskirts of Kathmandu Valley, who hand roll the incense sticks. Each stick is made with intention and care.
